The Active Quarter partnership’s mission is to make it easier and more enjoyable for people to get outdoors in Northampton. The community page and activities page on our website lists some great opportunities for those who want to get out and about in the local area. Visitors to those pages can browse through some upcoming events, surveys to take part in, and other ways to improve outdoor spaces in the Active Quarter.

We have now launched a new programme to encourage even more people to get involved and share what they love about Northampton. The ‘Share your story’ feature, found on our community page, gives anybody a chance to share a photograph from a local park or outdoor space in Northampton – and tell us what they love about it. We’ll share them on our website so others can feel proud to live here, and we’ll use the comments to shape the work we do next.

Our hope is to build up a gallery of brilliant images and quotes to share with others (online and in print), so that even more people can learn about all that Northampton’s Active Quarter has to offer.
