Abbey Joggers
A social running group based at Delapré Abbey, offering sessions for both new and seasoned runners. You’ll often find their runners have a post-run chat, coffee, or cake at the onsite café afterwards!

This is a recurring activity.
Abbey Joggers have three different sessions you can get involved in:
- ‘Get me started’ – for those that are new or returning to running
- ‘Keep me going’ and ‘Challenge me’ – for those that can run for 30+ minutes.
‘Get me started’ sessions usually take place on Thursdays at 9.30 am; ‘Keep me going’ and ‘Challenge me’ sessions usually take place on Thursdays at 10.15 am.
Cost
Joining a session currently costs £2.50, with discounts available for those who book five or more sessions at a time. Attendance should be booked via the Abbey Joggers website, using the link below.
Parking
Free car parking is available for visitors to the Abbey, with priority disabled parking for blue badge holders. Bike racks are provided outside the Common Ground Cafe.
Accessibility
Abbey Joggers have guides available for visually impaired and hard of hearing or D/deaf communities, with limited BSL support. Everybody runs together as a group. Some of the footpaths around Delapré Abbey may include some uneven surfaces.
