Introduction

If you deliver health or wellbeing activities within the Active Quarter, or you deliver a community programme in search of volunteers, get in touch and reach new audiences!

We’ll be able to feature some of these on our website, either on the Activities page or the Community page. We will then additionally be able to start conversations about how the Active Quarter partnership could work with you in the future.

Before you begin

Type of listing Required
e.g., "Outdoor photography group".

Essential info

Just a few sentences.
Share what date/s and time/s you meet, or add a general note if it varies.
If your activity is fixed-term or there's a deadline to apply, tell us when it ends.
Tell us about any fees or leave a general note if it varies.

Activity location

Type an address or add a general note if not applicable.
Give a little information about where people might park.
Give a little information about how people might get there.

Images or photographs

You can share up to three images to accompany your listing. These can be:

  • Photography (ensure you have permission to share)
  • Flyers
  • Logos (e.g., for crediting funders/partners).

Joining in

Tell people how to book, or if they can just turn up.

You can share up to three additional hyperlinks so people can find out more.

Other notes

E.g., equipment needed, training required, funders to credit.

Accessibility

Finally, let us know a bit about accessibility at your event’s location. Leave blank if you’re not sure.

If questions don’t apply, help people understand why. E.g., a running group might meet in an area of low street lighting, but only during daylight hours.

E.g., there are some steps but our running routes can avoid them if helpful.
E.g., there aren't any benches where we meet, but there's a café nearby.
Do you meet in a crowded or quiet place? If outdoors/at night, is it well lit?
