Action for Happiness volunteering

A movement of people taking action to create a happier and kinder world, currently seeking volunteers to support their training courses.

Action for Happiness volunteers help bring people together for shared learning experiences, based on positive psychology, to boost the wellbeing of everyone involved. They inspire positive change that ripples out through people’s lives and communities. Volunteers come from all walks of life. They are friendly, kind, open-minded people who want to give some of their time to boost others’ wellbeing. You don’t have to be an expert – or be happy all the time.

There are many ways for volunteers to get involved. You could host stalls at community events, run a regular Group, help out at the Community of Practice, run a Champions Course or a Happiness Habits course. Whatever you decide, volunteering is a really rewarding experience and you’ll make a huge positive impact on people and communities in Northamptonshire! All volunteers receive training and support from the Action for Happiness team.

Volunteer training is online and is self-paced learning. Afterwards, the team will get in touch and support you to grow into your role. If volunteering is not what you are looking for, you might like to join a local group first or try the free online 10 Days of Happiness Coaching Course, Champions Course or Happiness Habits Courses. There are lots of ways to begin your journey and to boost your own wellbeing.

Cost

It’s free to become a volunteer, you’ll just need to complete the online training.
